Although I am very serious about education, I know how important it is for my students to enjoy the material. As a math tutor, I help my students find that one solid, correct answer; but as a writing tutor, I want my students to learn to play with language and words. I have a huge variety of educational experiences, and I've known for years that teaching is my passion. I began tutoring as an undergraduate at West Chester University, where I worked both in the counseling center and as a tutor for college level math. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, then received a certificate to teach English as a Second Language. After receiving these degrees, I completed my own education with a master's degree in Educational Leadership at Cabrini College. The training I received in school helps me tutor nearly every age range, from elementary school children to young adult college students. I enjoy tutoring writing and math the most, but I also have extensive experience tutoring for standardized tests (PSAT, ACT, and SAT) and editing college applications and essays. My passion for education helps me impart not only the process to my students, but the understanding that school is not just good grades - it is an investment in their own futures.
